Between university and work, I have been taking time to learn new skills. Recently I took a blacksmithing course, and made poppies for Remembrance Day.
I am proud to have presented on behalf of the DEPLOY! project, at the ELGRA 2024 conference.
Everyone at the conference was amazing and there were so many interesting presentations. It was a true honour to be here.

The team members of this project are: Alessandro Billi, Erin Saltmarsh, Vittorio Rosellini, Silvia Picchi, Michele Bocelli, and Nicola Ricci.
This project was supervised by: Prof Sauro Filippeschi, Dr Mauro Mameli, Dr Nicolas Miché, and Prof Fabio Bozzoli.
This was an exciting week starting with a day of climbing on the Buachalle, followed by walking along the West Highland Way. Absolutely beautiful scenery, if a little damp.
A big thank you to Malcolm Airey mountaineering for teaching me to climb.
On August 2nd I attended my graduation at the University of Brighton, with a 2:1 in Aeronautical Engineering.
I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who supported me through this journey, including my friends, family, and people from the university (including the STEP Lab, and DEPLOY! Project). It has been a truly AMAZING adventure.
I am so happy to have completed another project with the STEP Lab team, at the University of Brighton. Working in the STEP lab has provided so many opportunities to learn skills outside my field of study, engage in both practical and theoretical research, and engage with other students. I have made some good friends here, and would 100% recommend working on projects/dissertations here to other students.
In the summer of 2022, I engaged in a summer internship in the STEP Lab at the University of Brighton, working on aerodynamic testing with wind tunnel experiments.
This was a fantastic opportunity, and I learnt so much about aerodynamics, engineering practices, and gained valuable insights into working in engineering environments.
